Are you distressed by your relationships with family, peers, or your significant other?
Are you trying to figure out who you are?
Do you want to feel better about yourself?
Are your struggling to deal with difficult emotions?
Are you contemplating marriage or a break up/divorce and want a sounding board?
I believe every person has a unique life story and individual concerns so I offer an individualized and personal approach for each client. Drawing from attachment theory, interventions, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), clients experience my approach to be interactive, rewarding, and effective. I view therapy as a collaborative process and work with my clients to provide them evidence-based tools and skills necessary to make changes to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
I offer individual therapy sessions for those who might need support in any of the following areas:
- Communication skills
- Managing life transitions
- Managing work stress
- Depression and mood issues
- Coping with grief and loss
- Dating and Relationship Struggles
In therapy you have the opportunity to find the hope and strength to make lasting improvements. I respect the courage it takes to reach out, and I hope that you do. I am here to help. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or Call 914-979-2033.
Online Appointments Are Available
I provide online (live video) therapy and coaching for clients who seek the convenience and ease of having therapy in a place of their choosing. I know it’s sometimes hard to get to a therapist’s office. Sometimes you’re too busy, live too far away, or have trouble finding childcare. With online therapy, now we can meet wherever it’s most convenient for you – your couch, your kitchen, or your hotel room. Research shows that it is just as effective as meeting face-to-face, plus it’s secure. And – perhaps the best reason to consider it – the ease of use makes it far more likely that you will be able to complete treatment. All you need is a computer and broadband internet access.
